Essaouira-Mogador Airport is listed by ONDA. Check the flights offered for your dates, then separately arrange the transfer to your accommodation. No taxi price, flight schedule, or travel time is guaranteed here.
Supratours, a subsidiary of ONCF, features Essaouira in its offer and provides coach journeys to complement the rail network. Check the mode of transport, boarding point and connections on your ticket; a journey sold by ONCF may include a coach segment.
Before choosing accommodation, identify the possible drop-off point, the route with luggage, and access to the school or services. Test these journeys on site, especially for an address in the medina.
Housing: an example of a monthly rental
Raounak: Mubawab listing 8354671, retrieved on October 19, 2026, offers a 70 m² furnished apartment at 5,500 MAD per month, or 78.57 MAD/m²/month after rounding. The text indicates an annual lease. The price, surface area and duration are statements made by the advertiser.
The listing states that water, electricity, and internet are extra. This isolated example represents neither an average rent in Essaouira nor a verified transaction. Availability, actual surface area, utilities, deposit, and fees must be confirmed before any commitment.
Compare offers of the same size and equipment level. During the visit, check the ventilation, signs of moisture, noise, the condition of the building, and daily commutes. Ask for a written document detailing the rent and fees.
Water, electricity, and sanitation
The Marrakech-Safi Regional Multiservice Company covers the province of Essaouira since its launch in November 2024, according to the announcement relayed by Médias24. The 2026–2030 ANRE note also classifies Essaouira within the electrical perimeter of this SRM.
For a rental, ask for the last invoice, the name of the contract holder and the applicable procedures for the exact address. Have any opening fees and the payment of utilities specified. No bracket-based scale or subscription amount is extrapolated in this sheet.
Health: existing facilities and announced projects
The Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah Provincial Hospital Center in Essaouira is cited by the Ministry of Health. Its press release published on July 20, 2026 presents a rehabilitation and extension project as well as a new provincial hospital project: these announcements do not constitute proof of commissioning of the future hospital.
The same press release indicates the launch, on July 14, 2026, of the services of the Tamanar local hospital. This institution is located in the province of Essaouira, and must not be confused with a facility established in the city of Essaouira.

Schools: understanding the proposed path

Beyond primary school, the AEFE directory indicates levels followed with the CNED, from sixth grade (sixième) to tenth grade (seconde), without accreditation of these levels within the establishment.
