Who writes this guide?

My name is Taoufik and I publish my books under the name Mr Taoufik. This guide answers the questions asked by Moroccans living abroad and people who want to discover Morocco, return there or settle there: paperwork, cars, money, housing, healthcare and children’s education.

My objective is simple: to bring together in one place clear, dated, and sourced answers so that everyone can prepare their stay, return, or settlement without getting lost between official websites and forums.

The road, my profession

I am a heavy goods vehicle driver. Driving and rest times, safe sleeping areas, tolls, checks, and vehicle documents are part of my daily life. This road professional's perspective feeds the pages dedicated to travel and Europe–Morocco drivers.
